Terms of Service
Last updated: August 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Post For My Business, including our website, publishing platform, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting content, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This is a plain-language summary of our operating policies, not a substitute for legal advice. If you have questions about how a specific situation applies to you, please contact us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Editorial Guidelines, and our Sponsored Content Policy, each incorporated by reference. We may update these Terms from time to time — see Changes to These Terms below.
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and for the accuracy of the business and article information you submit. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. The Service
Post For My Business is a publishing platform that lets businesses submit articles about themselves for editorial review and, if approved, public publication. We currently offer:
- Single Post — a one-time purchase that reserves one article credit for a customer-written submission.
- Assisted Post — a one-time purchase where our team drafts the article from a brief you provide, subject to the process described in Assisted Post below.
- Monthly Publisher — a recurring monthly subscription that provides article credits for ongoing publishing, described in Credits below.
- Subscriber Extra Credit — an additional one-time credit purchase available only to accounts with a qualifying active or trialing Monthly Publisher subscription at the time of purchase.
We may add, change, or discontinue specific products or features over time; current pricing and included features are shown on Post Your Business.
4. User & Business Content
You retain ownership of the business information, article content, and images you submit ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant Post For My Business a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, adapt, display, distribute, promote, and technically process Your Content as necessary to operate the Service — including publishing it publicly if approved, displaying it in feeds and search results within the Service, and making the technical copies (backups, caching, image processing) that publishing a website requires.
5. Your Representations
By submitting content, you represent that:
- you have the authority to submit information and content on behalf of the business described;
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have the necessary rights to any images or other material you upload, and authorize us and, upon publication, the public to view them as part of the published article;
- Your Content does not violate any law, infringe any third party's rights, or violate our Editorial Guidelines.
6. Editorial Review
Every submission is manually reviewed. Purchasing a plan reserves an article credit — it does not guarantee approval or publication. We may approve a submission, request revisions, or reject it under our Editorial Guidelines. What happens to your reserved credit if a submission is rejected depends on how it was created:
- Single Post and Monthly Publisher (self-service) submissions: a rejection, for any reason, releases the reserved credit back to your account so it can be used again.
- Assisted Post submissions: see Assisted Post below — the outcome depends on whether we had already delivered a draft.
7. Credits
Article credits are service entitlements, not cash balances or gift cards — they cannot be redeemed for cash, and they cannot be transferred to another account or business.
- One-time credits (Single Post, Assisted Post, Subscriber Extra Credit) do not expire once issued, unless we tell you otherwise.
- Monthly Publisher credits are issued at the start of each paid billing period. They do not roll over — unused monthly credits expire at the end of the billing period in which they were issued (a limited grace period may apply if a submission funded by that credit is still in review when the period ends, so an active review is never cut off by expiration alone).
- Subscriber Extra Credit is only available for purchase while your Monthly Publisher subscription is active or trialing, per the eligibility check at checkout.
- A credit that is used to publish an article is permanently consumed.
8. Assisted Post
Assisted Post is a drafting-assistance service, not just editing of a finished article:
- You submit a topic and brief describing what the article should cover, not a finished article.
- Our team prepares a draft based on your brief and sends it to you for review.
- You receive one included revision round on the draft — a chance to request changes before final approval.
- Your approval is required before the article proceeds to the same editorial review every submission goes through. Approval does not guarantee editorial approval or publication.
- Once we have delivered an initial draft to you, the writing service has been materially performed. From that point on, your reserved Assisted Post credit is not automatically returned or restored, including if you later decide not to proceed, decline the final draft, or a submission is rejected after delivery under a non-editorial category. This reflects that we have already completed the paid drafting work.
- Before we begin drafting, existing cancellation terms apply: an administrator may cancel an Assisted Post request that has not yet entered drafting, which releases the reserved credit back to your account. We do not offer a separate customer-initiated cancellation right beyond what is described here.
- Assisted Post does not include unlimited revisions, guaranteed publication, or search engine optimization guarantees.
9. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and displayed before you pay. We do not currently calculate or collect sales tax on purchases; if that changes, we will update this section and our checkout flow accordingly. Monthly Publisher is a subscription that recurs automatically at the price and interval shown at signup until you cancel.
10. Subscription Cancellation
You can manage or cancel your Monthly Publisher subscription at any time from the Billing Portal, accessible from your account's Billing page. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for — you keep access and any already-issued, unexpired credits from that period — and it will not renew or charge you again after that period ends. Canceling does not retroactively revoke credits already issued for the current period, and we do not currently offer prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period; see Refunds & Financial Exceptions below for how a refund, if approved, is handled instead.
11. Refunds & Financial Exceptions
Refunds are reviewed and, where approved, processed manually — we do not run an automated refund-request system, and payment or subscription status alone does not entitle you to a refund. When a refund is approved and processed through Stripe, what happens next depends on the state of the credit or service involved:
- An article credit that is still unused and unreserved is automatically revoked when its purchase is refunded — it can no longer be used.
- A credit already reserved to an in-progress submission, or already consumed by a published article, is not automatically released, restored, or reversed when its purchase is refunded. We do not automatically unpublish content or alter a submission's status just because a refund occurred. These situations are reviewed manually, and an administrator decides the appropriate resolution.
- An Assisted Post refund after we have delivered a draft does not automatically restore the credit or undo the delivered service — see Assisted Post above. It is reviewed manually.
- A refund on a Monthly Publisher subscription payment does not automatically cancel the subscription, revoke or restore any monthly credit, or change any submission or published article's status. It is reviewed manually.
- A payment dispute or chargeback filed with your card issuer does not automatically reverse, restore, or delete any credit, submission, or published content. We record and review disputes manually and may respond to them through Stripe or our payment processor.
Granting a refund does not, by itself, reverse publication, undo delivered service, or restore a consumed credit — any such change is a separate, deliberate decision made after manual review. Nothing in this section waives any non-waivable right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
12. Sponsored & Promotional Content
Articles submitted and paid for (or directed) by a business — including Single Post, Assisted Post, and Monthly Publisher articles, and articles funded by a complimentary credit we grant on a business's behalf — are identified as sponsored content on the article page and in our feeds, per our Sponsored Content Policy. Some content on the Service is staff-authored platform content with no business submission or payment behind it; that content is not labeled sponsored. Publication of any article, sponsored or not, does not constitute an endorsement by Post For My Business of the business, its products, services, or claims.
13. Prohibited Conduct & Content
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited under our Editorial Guidelines, which we incorporate by reference rather than duplicate here. We may reject, request changes to, or remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, for violations of the Editorial Guidelines or these Terms.
14. Availability & Service Changes
We aim to keep the Service reasonably available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently, including for maintenance, and we are not liable for reasonable interruptions.
15. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the Editorial Guidelines, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if required by law. We will use judgment proportionate to the issue and, where practical, will try to explain the reason. You may stop using the Service at any time; this does not by itself entitle you to a refund — see Refunds & Financial Exceptions above.
16. Disclaimers
The Service is a publishing platform. We do not guarantee any specific search engine ranking, website traffic, leads, sales, or other business outcome from a published article, sponsored or otherwise. Editorial review confirms a submission meets our guidelines; it is not a certification, endorsement, or warranty of the business, its products, services, or the accuracy of claims a business makes in its own submitted content. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POST FOR MY BUSINESS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
18. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Post For My Business harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights. We will provide reasonable notice of any such claim.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law & Venue
Post For My Business is currently operated as a Louisiana sole proprietorship. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service is subject to the applicable state and federal courts in Louisiana.
21. Contact
