Post For My Business

Editorial Guidelines

Every submission is manually reviewed against these guidelines before publication.

Content Requirements

  • Article body between 500 and 2,500 words
  • Information about the business must be accurate and current
  • Claims about products, services, or results must be supportable
  • Content must be original or the business must be authorized to publish it
  • One featured image, with the business authorized to use it
  • One primary business website URL

What Gets Declined or Sent Back

  • Unsupported or misleading claims
  • Content outside our accepted post types
  • Excessive promotional language or keyword stuffing
  • Images the business is not authorized to use
  • Content that violates our sponsored content or general policies

Revisions

Submissions that need changes receive a revision request with specific feedback rather than an outright rejection where possible. Each plan includes at least one correction round.

If a Standard Submission Is Rejected

For Single Post and Monthly Publisher submissions, a rejection under any of the categories above releases your reserved article credit back to your account — it becomes usable again for a future submission. Rejecting a submission never forfeits a Standard credit.

Assisted Post Submissions

Assisted Post submissions go through the same editorial review once you approve the drafted article. Before that point, our team prepares the draft from your brief and you review it — see our Assisted Post details for how that process works, including what happens after we've delivered a draft to you.

Sponsored Disclosure

Published posts that a business paid for or directed — Single Post, Assisted Post, and Monthly Publisher articles — are labeled as sponsored content. Staff-authored platform content is not. See our Sponsored Content Policy for details.
